Scope

Applies to all wristwatches and electronic gadgets sold on mykotwal.com to customers in India, under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Order Cancellation

You may cancel an order before it is dispatched by contacting support@mykotwal.com or via your account. Once marked “Shipped,” an order cannot be cancelled; please use the return process below.

Return Eligibility

Returns accepted if all apply:

  • Defective or Damaged: Watch or gadget is broken, malfunctioning, or missing parts.
  • Mis-described: Item differs materially from its website description.
  • Late Delivery: Delivered more than 7 days after the estimated date (excluding force majeure).
  • Sealed-Box Electronics: For gadgets sold in sealed packaging, returns are accepted only if seal is intact.

Initiate returns within 7 days of delivery.

How to Request a Return

  1. Sign in at mykotwal.com → My Orders → Request Return.
  2. Choose the item and reason; upload photos if damaged/defective.
  3. Submit; you’ll receive a Return Authorization Number (RAN) via email within 2 business days.

Shipping & Costs

  • Our error (defect, damage, mis-description, late delivery): We cover return shipping.
  • Buyer’s remorse or change of mind: You bear shipping costs.

Inspection & Approval

We inspect returned items within 5 business days. If criteria are met, we approve your refund.

Refund Process

  • Method: To original payment mode (card, UPI, net banking).
  • Timeline: Within 7 working days of approval, per RBI guidelines.

You’ll get an email once the refund is initiated.

Partial Refunds & Fees

We may deduct non-refundable shipping fees (if return not due to our error) and a restocking fee of [X%] only if clearly stated.

Exchanges

Direct exchanges are not available. Please return for a refund and place a new order.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Perishables (e.g., batteries beyond shelf-life).
  • Personal-hygiene accessories once unsealed.
  • Gift cards; downloadable software; digital content.
